Bob Caines
A native Virginian, Bob Caines was born in Fairfax County
and moved to Loudoun in 1977. Bob graduated from Broad Run
High School, which was then affectionately known as “Corn
Field High”. He then attended Radford University in
Southern Virginia before taking a job with Continental
Airlines giving him the opportunity to see the world.
In 1987, a friend suggested that Bob parlay his love of
people and active personality into a new career in Real
Estate. His interest piqued, Bob obtained his Real Estate
License and began to work for ERA Realtors in 1988 before
moving to Re/Max Select Properties in 1990. It was a
perfect fit and Bob began a successful professional
relationship that continues today in the Ashburn office with
the Bob Caines’ Team. Bob has been a Top Producer since 1992
and has received many achievement awards from Remax
International including: 100% Club, Platinum Club and The
Remax Hall of Fame. He is also a member of the Certified
Residential Specialist (CRS) council and a graduate of the
Real Estate Institute (GRI).
It was in 1991, that Bob’s old friend, Stephanie Burwick,
from Broad Run High School moved back into Loudoun County.
It was meant to be and in 1994, Bob and Stephanie were
married between the 3rd and 9th holes
at Loudoun County Golf and Country Club (where Bob is a
member). Bob and Stephanie moved to Ashburn in 1995 where
they continue to raise their two “lively” boys, Devin and
Dillon as well as their dog, Buddy the beagle. Dillon loves
his big brother and Devin wants to be a Super Hero when he
grows up. They all love to share Bob’s interests in Camping
and Sports and are plotting to overthrow Bob as the reigning
Champion of Family game night. For the last ten years, the
family has also attended Supper Club with friends from High
School and College and loves the fact that their boys are
growing up in a strong community of friends that they will
have for a lifetime.
Not one to rest on his laurels, Bob has been a proud member
of the Sterling Rotary Club since 1992 where he has chaired
the Annual Golf Tournament since the mid 1990's helping to
raise money for Scholarships given out each year to Loudoun
Public Schools. The Sterling Rotarians also work to support
the local Boy scouts, Salvation Army, and Rotary
International projects. Bob has received the
distinguished Kurt Lange Memorial Award in 2000-2001 and the
Outstanding Service Award for Rotary in 2001-2002. He is
also a Paul Harris Fellow, which is named after the Founder
of Rotary celebrating 100 years of service in 2005.
Together Bob and Stephanie are active members at Crossroads
United Methodist Church where Bob ushers and Stephanie
teaches 2nd Grade Sunday School. They have also
worked to organize teams for Relay for Life (American Cancer
Society) and Stephanie hopes to participate in on of the
Breast Cancer 3-day walks in the future.
Bob loves living and working in Loudoun County. Being a
Realtor lets Bob enjoy the benefits that this area has to
offer and a chance to share with the people that his team
meets and helps on a daily basis. Give Bob and his team a
